Mini Explorer Friday Sessions
A three hour Mini Explorer session, generally a good fit for children ages 5 through 7 who have taken our Mini Discovery (Mini Shredder) programs in the past and need a bit more challenge. In the session we'll be refining those core mountain bike skills that they've been introduced to in previous sessions, moving a little more quickly, going a little further, and taking on a little more challenge.

These sessions are typically for children aged 5, 6, and 7 who already know how to ride a bicycle and are ready to learn and practice the fundamental skills of off road Mountain Biking. Reach out to us if this program seems like the right fit for your younger or older child.
Participants should be prepared to be on their bike for much of the three hour session beginning with practicing fundamental bike handling skills followed by a ride approximately 4km in length on trails with natural surfaces and hazards as well as some gentle inclines and descents.
Sessions run rain or shine. Be prepared!
Participants MUST wear a helmet, meeting or exceeding industry standards, for the duration of the session.
Participants MUST have bikes with pedals and hand brakes. Gears are preferable but not required.
Participants MUST have off-road tires and carry a spare tube for their rim and tire size.
Participants MUST have appropriate clothing for weather conditions as well as adequate food and hydration.
We ask that all participants be comfortable using the "facilities" in nature unassisted.
A welcome letter with more details, how to be prepared, and what to bring, will be sent to registrants in advance of the session.
